Convenient place to stay, fairly clean, can't recommend highly enough. Breakfast was really tasty and staff was willing to help. The double room was well maintained and beautifully presented. The bed was lovely and there were iron/ironing board, coffee and Wi-Fi. The location was unbelievable close to the river. .

Staff were loyal and room overlooked the river. Moreover, Armathwaite Castle was 5 minutes' walk away. Food was BRILLIANT, we appreciated it. You guys made our stay lovely.

Beautiful location to Carlisle Lake District airport, just 20 minutes by car. The area contains some restaurants like the dukes head within 15 minutes' walk.
